Russia EV Passenger Vehicle Market July 2026: Evolute Leads as Top 5 Sales Decline 3.3%

Russia’s tracked Top 5 EV passenger vehicle OEM sales recorded a marginal 3.3% month-on-month decline in July 2026, falling from 239 units in June to 231 units in July. The market declined by just 8 units, with strong growth from Evolute, Zeekr, Ora and BYD partially offsetting a sharp decline in Moskvich sales.

Evolute emerged as the market leader in July 2026, recording 107 units, compared with 35 units in June. The company added 72 units and registered strong 205.7% MoM growth, accounting for 46.3% of the tracked Top 5 EV OEM sales.

Zeekr ranked second with 45 units, increasing from 31 units in June. The brand recorded 45.2% month-on-month growth and held a 19.5% market share among the Top 5 EV OEMs.

BYD secured third position with 41 units, compared with 37 units in June. The company recorded a moderate 10.8% MoM increase and accounted for 17.7% of tracked Top 5 EV sales.

Moskvich ranked fourth with 30 units, down sharply from 134 units in June. Sales declined by 77.6% MoM, representing the steepest fall among the Top 5 EV OEMs and significantly impacting the overall market performance.

Ora recorded 8 units in July 2026, compared with just 2 units in June. Although volumes remained small, the brand registered the strongest percentage growth at 300.0% MoM and accounted for 3.5% of the Top 5 EV OEM sales.
