Finland’s automotive market recorded 6.3% month-on-month growth in June 2026, increasing from 9,713 units in May 2026 to 10,328 units in June 2026. The market gained 615 units, primarily supported by stronger passenger car and truck sales.

The Car segment remained the largest volume contributor, rising from 6,783 units in May to 7,564 units in June 2026. The segment added 781 units and recorded 11.5% growth, making passenger cars the principal driver of Finland’s overall market expansion.

The Truck segment registered the fastest growth, increasing by 33.9%, from 227 units to 304 units. Commercial vehicle sales also improved marginally, rising from 1,190 units to 1,204 units, representing growth of 1.2%.

However, several segments recorded lower sales during the month. Van sales declined by 6.5% to 900 units, while two-wheeler sales fell by 7.9% to 842 units. Bus registrations decreased by 11.5% to 46 units, and tractors recorded the sharpest decline, falling by 13.2% from 774 units to 672 units.
