Two-Wheeler OEM Performance – May 2025
In April 2025, Hero MotoCorp led with 30.21%, while TVS hit a new high at 18.74%, closing in on Honda, which dropped to 23.78%. Ola Electric surged nearly 3x month-on-month to 1.43%, marking a strong EV rebound. Ather also rose to 0.96%. The market is consolidating, with "Others" shrinking sharply to 0.87%. TVS Motor led the electric two-wheeler segment in May 2025 with a sharp rise to 24.49%, up from 15.35% a year ago. Ola Electric, once the dominant player at 48.35% in May 2024, declined to 18.43%, ceding leadership. Bajaj/Chetak gained ground, climbing to 21.75%, overtaking Ola.
Ather Energy saw a dip to 12.82% from April’s 14.40%, while Hero MotoCorp improved slightly to 7.14%. Newer entrants like River Mobility continued steady growth, reaching 0.94%. Overall, market dynamics show rapid shifts, with legacy brands gaining and early EV leaders adjusting to increased competition.
