Bus OEM Performance – July 2025

Bus sales reached 14,741 units in July 2025, up 6.4% YoY and 3.3% MoM from June. Tata Motors led MoM growth with +13.9%, while Ashok Leyland followed at +11.8%, both benefiting from strong public transport orders. VE Commercial Vehicles saw a slight MoM dip, though it maintained solid YoY growth (+18%). The “Others” category surged YoY (+123%) and remained stable MoM, indicating continued traction among emerging players. The segment reflects consistent demand recovery, with state transport undertakings and institutional buyers driving volume.
